LOCAL GMRA MEMBERS DEMONSTRATE AT OBAMA SPEECH
Local GMRA members demonstrated on July 14 during President Obama's speech in Warren, Michigan. The demonstration called attention to the unfair treatment of GM retirees. While GMRA hoped to keep the demonstration small because of traffic and parking considerations, over 80 people participated. See related press release here.

BAY COUNTY, MICHIGAN--As General Motors Corp. struggles to stay out of bankruptcy, a group of salaried retirees is gearing up for what could be a long fight to protect their pensions and benefits. The newly formed GM Retirees Association held a meeting Monday morning in Bay County. Read more...
